Make Your Destination Wedding Memorable and Special
If you are anything like me, you have been dreaming about your big day since you were young. When I was a child, I would fantasize about my Disney-esque wedding. As I got older, I started to think about somewhere warm, exotic, and different. I didn't want just that cookie-cutter kind of wedding. I wanted something special that reflected my love of travel.
I know that budgets are always going to be an issue, but regardless, there are always really affordable options. In fact, as I have researched it more, I've come to realize that destination weddings are far more affordable than a traditional wedding venue at home!
Maybe I'm a dreamer, but when it comes to your wedding, it should be memorable. There are tons of great options to personalize your wedding day. From the cake to the flowers, make sure your big day is as unforgettable as you always hoped it would be.
I hope that one day, my perfect destination wedding ceremony will come to life. Until then, I will have to keep dreaming.

The Size of Your Destination Wedding
When you were little, did you always imagine every single person you had ever met attending your wedding? Well, you aren't alone! There are a lot of people out there who want massive amounts of wedding guests in attendance. And this isn't a bad thing! But when it comes to your destination wedding, it can be trickier.
First of all, you need to consider that not everyone can get the time off work or can afford to fly to wherever your destination wedding ceremony is taking place. You may also want to consider that your wedding may benefit from a more intimate feeling. Seeing the people that matter most to you in the world - that is what makes a wedding truly special.
If you are planning on having a larger destination wedding, then I would suggest you opt for a wedding planner. They will be able to help you take care of any snags and make sure that all of your guests are comfortable. There are also some great ways to ensure that your larger destination wedding goes well, so do your research and plan ahead!
Have you decided on the size of your destination wedding? I personally would like something small and intimate.

Choosing the Decor For Your Destination Wedding
How important is decor when it comes to a destination wedding? Think about it - so much is already there for you. That perfect sunset, the palm trees, and that perfect white sand....what else do you really need in terms of decor?
Well, this is a personal choice. For some people, the destination wedding locale is more than enough. For others, they want even more decor! This can include decorating chairs, elaborate floral displays, a flower petal aisle, or personalized wedding favours.
Have you given any thought to how much decor you will want for your destination wedding? When I think of my perfect destination wedding, I do want flowers to play a big part in the decor, whether that is naturally or with bouquets and floral arrangements. Making Your Vow Renewal Special
I guess with my parents talking more and more about their Maui vow renewal ceremony, vow renewals have been on my mind a lot more lately. I am trying to help my parents out with as many of the details as possible. I want them to know what their options are!
There are so many ways to ensure that a vow renewal ceremony is special. This is especially true when it comes to the details. There are a lot of options - a limo ride to the ceremony, a lei exchange ceremony, or even releasing doves!
When it comes to making your vows just as special the second time around, I think of making lasting memories. Being able to share your ceremony with loved ones once you get home is part of ensuring your ceremony is special. Great quality pictures and videos will keep those memories fresh.
How do you plan on making your vow renewal ceremony special?

Gift Etiquette For a Destination Wedding
As a guest of a destination wedding, it can be expensive. That is why a lot of couples like to keep the destination wedding ceremony intimate. If the wedding ceremony is larger, it can be quite costly for attending guests. They need to think about hotel rooms, food, and any other costs that may arise. As much as the couple will try to ensure that guests are able to save money, it can still be pricey.
So, what about the wedding gift? When guests spend so much money to simply attend the wedding, is it appropriate to expect another wedding gift on top of that? Most couples do not expect guests at a destination wedding to give a wedding gift. Simply being there is the real gift to the happy couple.
Wedding gift etiquette can be tricky, especially when it comes to a destination wedding. So, consider your budget and don't break the bank.

When it comes to your destination wedding, the details make it stand out. For my dream destination wedding ceremony, I know that flowers will play a key part.
Since I am thinking of a Hawaiian destination wedding, I really want traditional Hawaiian flowers to be a part of the ceremony. Children at Your Destination Wedding?
Your destination wedding is all about paradise - that escape from reality; that blissful, relaxing environment. But paradise can seem more like a daycare center when guests bring along their small children to your destination wedding ceremony.
So how can everyone be happy? Make sure you plan ahead. Have baby sitters ready at all times during the ceremony to make sure that the kids are taken care of. Discuss with the parents of the children that they will need to make sure they are well behaved and aren't running around the place. The key is proper supervision!
If children are going to be a part of your destination wedding, then be sure to pick a resort that makes sense for both couples and families. Being mindful of all of your guests will make a big difference when it comes to the success of your destination wedding.
Would you allow kids at your destination wedding or are they a no-go?
